The past couple weeks have been a mess. I had jury duty and to top it off I was sick too. So managing to go to work in the mornings then go to court in the afternoons then coming back to work at night have been brutal, while fighting off a cold to boot. Now that it is all over getting back to normal has been another task in itself.

Let’s rewind back to jury duty. Yes, we all have our civic duty to do but it was a pain in the ass. I got to see inefficient our courts are ran and how much time is wasted. It’s a pity that we cannot streamline the process to make everyone happy. Needless to say I don’t ever want to serve on jury again. Ever.

I don’t know why I got sick again. This is the third time I’ve been sick this year and we’re only in July. My immune system hates me. I can see why though. I treat my body like crap; maybe I deserve it.

Alright, I am done with the self loathing. Fuck this. It’s time to have some fun this weekend.
