Mafia Wars…Srs Business

So I play Mafia Wars and I think it is an awesome game. I saw that someone attacked me and kept losing every time she attacked me. Then she had the nerve to punch me in the face. Well, it is Mafia Wars not Hello Kitty Let’s Be Friends so I robbed her properties then punched her in the face until I knocked her out. Well, I think that’s what happened. The combat log is a bit cluttered. I guess that prompted a friend of her’s to send me a message via Facebook asking me to stop attacking her.
I think that’s just terribad. One, it’s seriously just a game and two it’s called Mafia Wars. If you can’t deal with being robbed or punched in the face virtually then I suggest you don’t play.
Mac Vs PC

For however long it’s been there has been an ongoing debate which is better, Mac or PC? I have used both and I think both do the job. I really don’t have a preference between both. I just hate the marketing on both sides but more so on the Apple side. Why? Because they make it sound like the average consumer does so much with their computer and they have created this zerg culture.
Let’s be honest. I truly believe the average computer user uses their machine for the following: browse social network or Internet, check email, listen to music, word process, blog (optional), chat and tweet. Do you really need a Core 2 Duo, Quadro and an uber l333tz0r video card for that? No. I don’t think so.
My solution is to create a computer that is cheaper than both and only perform said functions. Who is with me?
So Patch 3.1 came out. For most of us it was a total pain trying to raid so I didn’t bother showing up last night. It was good thing because my server was down for the most part. We tried raiding today. Same thing. So my entire raid night was composed of this image below.

Billy Bob Thornton did a weird interview with a Canadian radio station Q!. He was upset that the radio announcer introduced him as an Oscar Nominated Actor and Oscar Winning Writer. I recommend watching it because he is very weird and Jian Ghomeshi does a great job managing the situation. Towards the middle/end of the video there was the confrontation between the two which makes Billy Bob look like more of a douche.
I liked his movies. I really did. He is such a diva it is amazing. Maybe he needs some pointers from other people on how to manage his movie and music career. I am pretty sure his fellow divas like Miley Ray Cyrus, Lindsay Lohan and Zac Efron can manage to help him. I am seriously happy he got booed at his concert last night.
Way to go DOUCHE!

Achievements…WoW!

So a group of my WoW friends and I went for the Undying achievement and title and we got it! w00t! My guild did Sartharion with 2 Drakes and downed it. We are going for Sartharion 3 Drakes hopefully we can get it. Just need more DPS and coordination.
This past week I have been disconnected. Really, I have been. On Monday morning I had a feud with Time Warner because my Internet wasn’t working. I checked the modem and according from the LED’s blinking on the modem I could tell signal wasn’t coming in. I called it in and I got the run around, of course I was getting angry every second because I was dealing with morons. They needed to send a technician out and wouldn’t be able to send one out until Thursday. So I had enough of it and decided to cancel my Internet. Time Warner in my area usually goes down a lot and has shitty DNS.
I thought I was cool, so I called Verizon and inquired about their DSL. They said they could provision my line in no time and it would be no problem. A day later I get an email saying they couldn’t provision the line. I found out that in my area we only have two choices for ISPs; TW or Verizon. Since Verizon had to cancel on me I had to go back to TW.
TW sent out a technician on Friday. The surprise was he had the same last name as me. It was frightening because the only Cercado’s I know are my cousins. Anyhoo, he fixed my connection but TW still needs to do more work on the line. So what’s the moral of this post? Live in a place where you have a lot of ISP options and hope you have FioS.
